O-"baaah"-ma
Obama was rescued by his neighbor after living cooped up on less than 1/4 acre.

Michael "Lamborghini"
This little guy joins us from a local sheep farm. After his birth on on May 3, 2025, his mom was unable to feed him so he was brought to us for bottle feeding. He's doing great and we hope to integrate him with the goats soon.

Peppa Dobbins
Peppa is our newest pig. Not sure of his origin, he comes to us via an Anakins Trails rescue. While trying to help a stray dog, Peppa wandered into the trap and has come to live out his days here.

Boris
Boris was picked up by animal control in Anderson and brought to the local shelter intended for dogs and cats. After a couple of weeks living in a cement dog kennel, Boris was super excited to come to the farm and roll around in the earth!

Abigail
Abigail comes to us from Sumter, SC. She is a 4 year old adorable little piggy with lots of personality and spunk! Hopefully she and Boris will learn to love each other and be best friends.

Lanny "Larry"
Lanny is a 25 year-old thoroughbred who comes to us after a long life on a single local farm. Facing health issues, his owners reached out to us for help and we are happy to have him join our large horses for retirement in his forever home.

Fancy
Fancy is a beautiful 20 year of haflinger. Her owner has entrusted us with her care after 11 great years at her farm.

Bella
Bella is a mini-mule who came to us from Hasty's Haven. She is slow to warm up, but she is a sweet girl in her early 20s. She is bonded with Moby.

Moby
Moby is a mini-horse who came to us from Hasty's Haven. He is about 20 years old and a little feisty. He like to let the others know he is head mini on this farm.

Captain "Jack" Sparrow
Jack is a retired lesson horse. A 30 year-old red-roan quarter horse, Jack was in an accident years ago and is missing an eye and only has a few teeth. He requires a diet of mush, and loves to be cuddled.

Chaco
Chaco is a 27 year old beautiful, mellow paint gelding. He was an owner surrender.

Tuscany
Tuscany is a retired Arabian who spent her early years as a show horse and later years as a therapy horse. This sassy mare has been a fun addition to the sanctuary.

Creamer
Creamer is one of our smaller goat residents. He was an owner surrender, along with his pal Hopper. A natural born trouble-maker, Creamer spends his days making his presence known. If you've visited the farm, you know what we mean...

Hopper
Hopper is one of our small goats, and Creamer's best friend. He will follow you all over the field asking for head rubs.

Yoda
Yoda is not as affectionate as his goat peers. However, he is always willing to give a quick smooch. He's a sweet guy who likes to do his own thing.

Loretta
Loretta is our only female goat. Being infertile, she was of no use to the dairy farm she comes from. She is also our smallest, and loudest goat. If you call to her, she is sure to call back.

Happy
As his name implies, Happy is happy. He loves attention and will always let you know he is around if you are petting another animal. He loves to lay in the field with people. He'll even lay his head in your lap!

Dobby
Dobby is a goofy guy. His extra long ears flip and flop as he moves around, and he's always excited to see people.

"Doc"tor Emmett Brown
Doc was the first animal brought to Moo Moo Meadows after we became official. He came to us from Always Room for One More Animal Rescue. We are happy to have him so Ruth has room to rescue more!

Beefy
With no microchip and no collar, Beefy was picked up on the streets by animal control and taken to Anderson County PAWS where he was treated for ear mites. At 10 years old, Bubsie doesn't have a lot of time left but he has plenty of love and kisses to offer. We are excited to give him the best golden years a terrier could ever want!

Deputy "Barnabus" Wobbles
Barnanbus is a purebred black and tan coonhound born in April 2025. He has a tremor syndrome that gives him a fun wobble when he walks.

Tina
Tina is the black kitty from the halloween kitty crew. The shyest of the group by far, she loves sitting off to the side in her doughnut throne.

Ruby
Ruby is a cuddly senior cat that was an owner surrender given to a local shelter and taken in here at moo moo meadows. Ruby has taken on the role of Manilas mom and keeps her in line. Ruby loves spending most of her time sitting on people and taking naps under the covers.

Sylvester
Sylvester only has three legs. He came to us just after having his front left leg amputated due to a GSW. He is a super affectionate kitty, and rules the kitty world here.

Manila Wafer
Manila Wafur is part of the Halloween kitty crew - She’s sweet, hyper, loves cuddling with Ruby, digging the dirt out of potted plants, sleeping through the day and hopping on you like a bunny at night.

Luna
Luna was found wandering the streets of Greenville. She took up residence at a local business, and due to an allergy and no room at the humane society, was brought to us. She's shy but seems happy on the farm.

Bell
Named after the object, bell is a sweet, senior cat that loves cuddling (on her own terms) Although she is tiny, she is full of love with a crooked tail and a Mickey Mouse shaped patch of black fur on her back. Bell was an owner surrender.

Washington, Mozart, Douglass, and Maple
These 4 crested ducks bring a lot of laughs to the sanctuary. With their silly "hair-dos," they bring lots of fun to the party.

The Chickens!
Our chicken coop currently houses 13 chickens (10 hens, and 3 roosters). These ladies and gentlemen love to free range when it is safe to do so, and reliably provide our officers with eggs. The call of the roosters is the perfect addition to the ambience at the sanctuary.
